The Role
As the Creative Studio Manager at AirVu Media, you will be the driving force behind our design studio's success. Working hand-in-glove with client Project and Campaign Managers, you'll lead a dynamic team, managing tasks, providing constructive feedback, and optimizing workflows to ensure projects are executed seamlessly. Beyond managerial responsibilities, you'll also be a hands-on creative, contributing your design and UX/UI expertise when needed. This role demands a unique blend of leadership, creative prowess, and a deep understanding of design processes.

Role and responsibilities include:
Team Management and Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of graphic & UX/UI designers, Videographers and Illustrators, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster professional growth and ensure project success
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design initiatives with overall business objectives
Project Management and Task Allocation:
- Oversee project briefs, ensuring clear and actionable tasks are assigned to team members based on their strengths and skills, in tandem with the Growth Marketing Team
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential roadblocks and proactively addressing them to maintain project timelines
- Prioritize tasks, balance the team's workload and adjust assignments as necessary to meet project demands
Creative Input and Design Execution:
- Actively contribute to design tasks, leveraging your creative expertise to produce high-quality assets when needed
- Drive the conceptualization and development of visually stunning design elements, aligning with client and internal project objectives
- Provide constructive feedback to team members, elevating the quality of work and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement
- Be the ultimate backstop for quality control in the studio
Workflow Optimization:
- Evaluate and refine design processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Identify and implement tools or resources that streamline the design workflow, improving productivity and output quality
Brand Strategy and Visual Identity:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the visual identity of AirVu Media's projects and initiatives
- Ensure consistency in branding elements across all design deliverables, reinforcing brand recognition and integrity
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations, and effectively communicate these to the team
- Present design concepts and progress updates to clients, gathering feedback and making adjustments to align with their vision
Market and Industry Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, incorporating relevant insights into the studio's creative processes
Requirements
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years experience in a leadership role in a creative team or agency
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality creative work across various platforms
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design tools, including Figma.
- Deep understanding of project management tools such as Click Up, Asana or JIRA.
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver compelling and cohesive design experiences
- Proficiency in providing creative direction and developing creative strategies for projects
Design and Creativity:
- Exceptional design skills, demonstrating a strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and attention to detail

- Experience in crafting meaningful brand strategies and building brands.
- Ability to bring creative ideas to life and effectively communicate visual concepts to stakeholders and clients
- Experience in creating visual narratives and storytelling through design elements

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience in cross-disciplinary design, web development and/or motion graphics
- Knowledge of Web3 technologies and their integration into design projects
